His First Christmas at Grampie’s
The Christmas Holiday was the reason for our family gathering, although it was also the first visit my husband, Jim, had made to my grandfather's house. Through the mirror inside the china cabinet, I took a photo of my husband, and grandfather sitting at the table after the main course had been cleared away and before the tea and dessert had been served. Jim's family lineage in Bermuda dates back to the 1600s and I was interested in capturing his first-time experience at our homestead in Maryland, where I had celebrated many different occasions growing up and as an adult.
